Here's to your best life experience!

We have this awful cycle that we follow in this life. We follow what our parents did or what society is doing and it doesn’t matter if the trend is what is going to make us happy or not. We just follow in line, like sheep to the slaughter, and miserable future, if we don’t make the change and break the cycle of “obligation”.
I will say that I also followed in the cycle of my family, but I was just so blessed with the example of parents who did what they loved every day and told me to refuse to have a “JOB”, but to find work that I love doing day in and day out.I didn’t know that this was an idea that was so foreign to people. Why in the world would we go to a J.O.B day after day year after year and stay miserable??
We only have one life to live!
Live it, Healthy, Well, Active, and free!

I taught High School Theatre for 4 years. I loved 3 ½ of those 4 years. When I stopped loving it, guess what, I quit! Because I felt like I would be quitting on my life if I stayed.I chose life!
I have lived WAY too much life in the past 6 months. Since I quit, I have opened and closed a business, had my heart broken, AGAIN, applied and was accepted for a master’s degree, faced bankruptcy, still facing a law suit and all at the ripe old age of 32! And while things are still scary and not all of these life experiences are good. I have no regrets. I fight everyday. I live everyday and most importantly I learn everyday! I still don’t know exactly what my future holds, but, I know that I only have one life to live and right now I am living it to the fullest and could not be happier.

My future right now looks like I am going to be able to write and share my story online, all the while hoping to inspire, instigate action and make some money! There may be a master’s degree and a move to a new city. There WILL be the opportunity for me to be my own boss, take control of my financial future and my schedule and there WILL BE THEATRE! There will be a break from the monotony, new challenges, new adventures daily!

I, unlike most 32 year old women, have the luxury of being single with no kids. In my humble opinion, those who have more to worry about than just themselves, need to put your husband and children first (this paradigm shift alone may bring you more joy). I also prefer to give myself a way to the people around me that need it, but I can’t do that if I am exhausted and miserable in a daily grind that I hate.

So the irony of choosing to take life by the reigns in what seems like a selfish decision, ultimately fills you up, gives you joy, energy, a drive and free time to allow you to give yourself away.
If you are in a daily routine that sucks the life out of you and drains you daily, then youre not having the best life experience for you and the people in your life.

I challenge you today to make a change, even if it’s a small one, to start to look life in the face, challenge it, and start living the best life you can while you are here!

So it may be adding a walk, changing your diet, it may be a phone call to someone you miss, it may be applying for a degree, it may be as bold as quitting your job, it may be re committing your life to your husband, wife, friends, children. It may be a commitment save enough money to go overseas with in the year. Whatever it is for you, GO HAVE LIFE!!
Here’s to your best life experience!
